Luol Deng and Ben Gordon provided enough big shots to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 108-95 victory over former coach Scott Skiles and the Milwaukee Bucks in the season opener Tuesday.
Deng scored 21 points and Gordon added 18 to offset Michael Redd’s 30. Andrew Bogut was troubled by his ankle and played only a secondary role posting 9 point (4of4) and 7 rebounds.

A 24-HOUR sports channel set to be launched next year on free-to-air television will provide some NBA coverage for Australians.

Channel 10 has outbid channel 9 for the broadcasting rights to the NBA. For Australians, this could possibly mean daily coverage of the NBA thanks to 10’s new high-definition channel. Not only does this move give Australian basketball fans their long awaited coverage, it could also provide Australian Basketball with a much needed boost.
