The NBA regular season is only a matter of weeks away, but the preseason action is underway. Although many don’t look at the form as any barometer of how their teams will go in the season proper it does give players the potential to nail down rotation spots and is also a great chance to see the new crop of rookies.

One player everyone has been looking at is Greg Oden, although not a rookie as he was drafted in 2007, but due to his season long injury during his rookie season this is his first season in the NBA and so far he looks good. In his last 2 games he been playing around 20 minutes and scoring in double digits.

Could Oden transfer this team from potential to contender?
