was watching Ubaka just dribbiling the ball around on saturday night WOW, id love to see him fully fit with a 5 man out isolation for him off the dribble that lil man will bust someones ankles bad..

The GC did look good on saturday, but then again there were about 5 guys from the tigers that showed up with any heart.. ill sum up what i think of some of their individuals
Gibson, made Hodge look like he was one of the development kids, took westover 40 mintues to put Rose on him.. He is in my opionion their X factor, do not let him get his 3 point shot away unguarded early.. Agent matchup??? Lish?
Where and when the hell did Vukona learn how to shoot free throws??? his last two games have not been Vukona like.. Concern to Perth or flash in the pan??
Maxy taxi-- he is serviceable strong and can put up numbers if required, i would think young and maxy will nulafiy each other
Demos- has the worst case of little man sindrome around, watch for him to trow elbows at guys like Redgahe and Catalini to try and prove that his tatts make him tough.
Bradshaw, in a word OVERRATED, yes he can be very agile, yes he can shoot the jumper yes he can rebound... but there all CAN'S not DOES...
the Van Man- doesnt put up numbers but plays a great role is strong and can nulify Bluey schesher (if bluey doesnt nulafiy himself)
Petrie- If GC beat Perth in this series it will be because Petrie steps up, not dropping 40 but look for 15-20 pt games with a 7-9 boards, but his mobility for a guy his size is his biggest weapon... IF HE is healthy
Harvey...Depends which James shows up, the guy who wants to be a team player and beat Perth or the guy who wants to show up and beat perth on his own
Pero- is very fat and has freakish Body building calves
Ubaka, will realistically need him to win a 3 game series as it will be tough enough in the Mongrel Jungle

Gold Coast is going to be tough but if we play the way we played against Townsville then we can get the win... the biggest issue for us is to shut down the corner 3 ball from the Blaze, Goulding and Harvey love to get the open shot in the corners so its going to take a big effort from Martin/Lisch/Robbins/Williamson to keep an eye on that and limit the effect the outside shooters have.

I want him to go Ron Artest on me... I would knock the tough man stickers off that bitch!

Speaking of a sign for Demos... any idea what it can say? im struggling at the moment for ideas.

Friend had an awesome one for Homicide on Sunday, was a black sign with a chalk outline of a body on pavement, then where the head goes was a cut out of Homicides head, under it said R.I.P COREY

But Demos hmm this is gonna be tough, I need something coz I will get on TV with it due to how close I am to their bench...

Ubaka has the best balls skills in the NBL clearly..

It was on Fox Sports that Petrie is to return (definite) but im not sure Ubaka will for the first game.

If Perth think they have this won they should be worried,Blaze are a good team this will be a good series.
Blaze have won against Cats at home then only just fell short in Perth.

I dont think Perth think they have this won... I think the fact we have kept the attitude that "we need to win every game" is the reason why we finished on top of the ladder. The attitude from Perth fans/club is that they want to come out strong in game 1 as they remember what happened here last time. Dont be surprised to see Redhage start putting up big numbers, the guy is hungry.

And Ubaka is out for Thursday according to Goulding.

They will get him the ball, Lisch and Redhage really look like they have a good understanding of where each other like the ball and you add Schenscher in to the mix who has been playing really good basketball lately and we are going to be dangerous.

Redhage I think has hit the point where he knows this is the Cats time and he doesnt want to be knocked out of the finals again.

Yeah I think Redhage is fired up for it, the post game drinks was insane on Sunday Redhage got on the mic and he sounded very determined... I think Lisch has stepped up a notch of late and just looking at the players Sunday after the game they looked very focused.
