where do you think patty mills would have gone in this draft had he stayed in school and stayed healthy ? seemed like a draft short on PG's
also is anyone surprised about A.J not getting picked up ? i havent seen much college ball this last year , but his production is down from earlier seasons . is this just from not getting enough touches on offense or is there another reason for his drop in output ? are our aussie boys getting bad advice by declaring for the draft too early ?

Yeah Aussies are going too early, no Aussies were selected this time, Mills would have still gone 2nd round imho.

Ogilvy would have been a good pick up for us at Boston for pick 59.

If Patty Mills had stayed in school and St MAry's had gone as far in the tourney as they did, Patty Mills would be gone 1st round EASY. He would have been the star instead of Samhan and things would have been very different.

Ahh the woulda, coulda, shoulda talk is sooo much fun ;)

Mills *might* have gone higher in this draft, but maybe not. Impossible to tell.

AJ Ogilvy - hindsight says he should have come out a last year or the year before, but he likely has a Summer League invite so he'll get an opportunity. Also if course World Champs coming up so another opportunity to show what he has. Not much went right this last year - Vandy and Stallings didn't know how to use him and the NBA changed all the workout rules this season which didn't help anyone get in front of teams in any meaningful way.It will be very interesting to see where AJ ends up for Summer League or whether he just goes to Europe.

(BTW, there is no doubt that AJ and many other players not picked are better than the two athletic hacks picked from Senegal. Wasted picks.)

Will AJ even make the Australia team with Loughton playing well and Jawai/Andersen/Maric locks?

Brett Brown was on SEN1116 radio this morning, he said that Ogilvy is better off not being the last pick in draft or a late pick as he has more freedom to choose which Summer League team etc.

Also said its so hard to crack the landscape of the NBA that Ogilvy wasn't really hard done by but only just missed out.
